Exercise of Rights by Holders of Personal Data

The data controller is responsible for compliance with all the principles relating to the processing of personal data under its charge and is obliged to demonstrate compliance.

Article 12(2) of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) provides that the data controller shall facilitate the exercise of the data subject's rights, including the rights referred to in Articles 15 to 22. Also, Recital (59) of the GDPR in this regard states that "rules should be provided to facilitate the exercise of the data subject's rights under this Regulation, including procedures to request and, where appropriate, obtain, free of charge access to and rectification or erasure of personal data and the exercise of the right to object. The controller should provide means for requests to be made electronically, where the data are also processed electronically. The controller should be obliged to respond to requests from the data subject without undue delay and at the latest within one month and give reasons where it intends to refuse the request. To this end, Frezite provides the data subjects that it collects and processes with a form so that they can easily exercise their rights indicated above by electronic means.

The form can be sent by e-mail to the following address: dpo@frezite.pt.
